Miniature Clothesline!

Hey everyone! We are in the car on a road trip to Oklahoma...son and daughter in love are graduating from college! Yipeee! This has given me a little more time to do some stitching since hubby is driving!
I cut out some teeny tiny clothes and then tried to make a clothesline and clothespins!

Hahaha...it is SUPPOSED to look like overalls, yellow dress and an apron...

Oh my...what fun, what fun! I am visiting all of you that are playing along with the stitchalong! What amazing ideas I have seen. Please feel free to use any of my ideas...that would make me happy to know anyone would want to. This has been a great time of reflecting on blessings, present and past. I think since our kids are graduating I need to stitch a miniature diploma somehow!
Blessings to all!

Stitch with Me!

Welcome to my new Farmhouse Blessings Blog! I encourage you to join here (free of course)
http://countedblessingsproject.blogspot.com/
and start your own Blessings Stitchery Sampler. Find your favorite colors of thread (embroidery floss or cotton floss) and fabric~ osnaburg, linen, stichery fabric of your choice....

and start stitching along. http://countedblessingsproject.blogspot.com/ (Amy's blog)

You need to stop over at Amy's wonderful site that started all this fun! She started with 39 squares to celebrate her 39 years. Her little stitchery was so wonderful people joined along and then she decided to broaden the theme and added blessings to the theme! What a lovely idea....many people added their blogs to the fun and this blogging stitch party has begun.

But it is much more than a party...it represents in a beautiful way the best part of our lives...those people we love, things that bless us....and recognizing blessings instead of focusing on the negative much of the time.

Below is a little Christmas sampler I did before the Holidays. Very simple...easy to do and I finished it quickly because I worked a little bit every day on it!

So what are you waiting for? Head over to Amy's blog http://countedblessingsproject.blogspot.com/

for wonderful inspiration...check out the blogs she has on her sidebar that have joined in on the fun...you will not be disappointed! Why not focus on lovely things, our blessings, joys that surround us? I love this idea!

blessings,

Debbie
